Conversa is always looking for qualified freelance and staff translators and language editors. Our freelancers work out of their homes and send us their work via e-mail, ftp, fax, modem, courier or mail. Preference is given to those with experience and proper software capabilities. In the very near future, all translators will have to submit documents using a translation memory program such as Trados Translator’s Workbench.

If your background meets our needs as a translator, then we will ask you to do a short sample translation as a test of your abilities. Please do not fax us your own sample translations as we have no way of knowing how much time you have spent or whether someone edited your work.
